The Denjwaihipuuŋ (alt. Denjwaihipuung) was a trading company based out of Warhienihanhue, Kingdom of Acha. At the time of its merger, it had a total monopoly on the Isle of Acha for shipping and exports.
Founding[edit | edit source]
The company was first started in 784 by Yhibouŋ Ywebcyī'ue, who started taking payment to add goods to his daily trips to the nearby Isle of Byihiñ. Soon, Ywebcyī'ue started paying others to sail boats to Byihiñ, as he was unable to fit the amount of goods being shipped on his boat.
Expansion[edit | edit source]
Shortly before Ywebcyī'ue's death, he started to expand the shipping routes that the Denjwaihipuuŋ would offer. He did this by creating a decentralized structure where one child company would have complete control over a route, however had to send it's profit to the Denjwaihipuuŋ, which would then split the money across the various child companies. This system was highly effective, and allowed it to make the Isle of Acha a trading hub in the Eastern Isles.
After the technology of the time improved to the point where boats could sail for several hundred miles, the Denjwaihipuuŋ started to make outposts on Mablagia. These trading posts would use the system that Ywebcyī'ue created, which was incredibly effective as it allowed the Denjwaihipuung to have people who could speak the language and understood the economy of the southern Mablagian coast.
Merger[edit | edit source]
Shortly after the creation of the Dwarhug Empire, the emperor Denjwawarhi I began various economic reforms. Due to the various trading companies' cutthroat competition, along with this competition having a tendency to involve neutral parties, he decided that a more centralized trading company was needed. This merged all of the various trading companies in Acha into the Dwārhugpyurhiñç, which included all assets of the Denjwaihipuuŋ.
